HOW IT WORKS

You drop it off / I digitize it / You get it back

I accept shipped media, but I strongly recommend local drop-off to ensure the safety of your original materials. I’m also happy to meet at a location of your choice within Philadelphia.

Once I have your media, I handle it with extreme care and digitize it using professional, high-quality equipment.

We’ll then meet again for you to receive your original media along with your newly digitized files. You can choose between a USB thumb drive or an SD card (SD card recommended).

DATA SAFETY

Backup Reassurance

I keep a secure backup of your files for 30 days after delivery in case anything happens to your drive. While digitizing your media, I treat it as irreplaceable. I handle all materials with extreme care.

TURNAROUND TIME

Most projects are completed within 5–10 business days, depending on volume and format.

THIS WORK IS PERSONAL

A man with glasses and a young girl sitting behind a cluttered office desk, smiling at the camera. The background features wood-paneled walls, framed maps, and office equipment.

My Opa was a hobbyist photographer and videographer. When he passed away, he left behind an enormous archive of his life: 6,000 film photos, 24 Super8 reels, 300 35mm slides, and 30 VHS tapes filled with moments he had spent decades capturing.

My dad and I wanted to make sure this history didn’t disappear, so we invested in digitizing equipment and spent three months carefully organizing everything chronologically and converting it into digital files.

Watching my Opa’s life unfold through these images and videos was one of the most meaningful experiences of my life. It felt like standing beside him through time, from immigrating to the U.S. from Hamburg, Germany, to meeting my Oma, Ella, in 1953, to his travels around the world and the quiet, everyday family moments in between.

That process is what sparked my passion for digitizing. All physical media has a shelf life. Once it degrades, those memories are gone forever. I feel deeply motivated to help others preserve their own archives so they can be shared, remembered, and passed down for generations.

A table cluttered with numerous black-and-white and color photographs, along with some loose papers and notes, in a dimly lit room.
A man sitting at a cluttered wooden dining table with a laptop, an Epson scanner, and various photographs and papers. The man is wearing a cap and a North Face jacket and is looking down. The laptop screen shows a scanning interface, and there are other items like a bag of rubber bands and a pen on the table.
